The last day of Native American week started with a parade.  Students, staff, and many other local entities took part in the parade.  Local emergency vehicles lead the parade through Ashland and onto the St. Labre campus.  All along the route, candy flew through the air to the excitement of everyone that watched.
After the parade, there were many activities for the students, including a teepee race where high school students teamed up to build Northern Cheyenne Crow teepees.  A feast of stew and fry bread was provided by the cafeteria staff, and a powwow ended the day with colorful regalia, drumming, and dancing.
