For the nearly 750 Native American students attending St. Labre, the classroom is the place where their journey to a better, brighter future begins. Teachers and support staff work to instill a love of learning into each student and allow them to use their imagination and minds to achieve their very best.
After breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria, excited boys and girls meet their friends on the playground so they can get rid of their wiggles before heading into the classrooms. Our K-4 and Middle School Academy students enjoy playing on the playground equipment, shooting hoops, and having time to be with friends. [...]
Learning all day takes a lot of energy, which is why it is important for the boys and girls at St. Labre to have healthy, delicious food prepared for them by the cafeteria staff. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are made daily at St. Labre, so our students have the necessary fuel to learn every day.
St. Labre Youth & Family Services sponsored a school supply giveaway for all St. Labre, Pretty Eagle, and St. Charles students. Thanks to donors like you, St. Labre was able to purchase a "new-to-us" road grader that replaces the inoperable one we have had in service since the 70's. Replacing this vital piece of equipment will help us to keep the boys and girls at St. Labre safe in the winter and continue to support road [...]
Our K-4 students celebrated the end of the 2018 school year with a fun-filled field day. Although the skies were cloudy and gray, the face of each boy and girl carried a smile from ear-to-ear as they raced, played tug-of-war, threw the football around, and made special memories together.

The kids had a great time painting river rocks and placing them in their rock garden that wraps around a tree just outside of the K-4 building. As the years go by, the rock garden will grow [...]

We had a beautiful 80-degree day full of sweat, laughs, smiles and possibly some sore muscles after getting through all 245 calves. We had a great [...]
Recently, our St. Labre middle schoolers welcomed some visitors from OPI and NASA. Each student built a rocket with the help of the NASA experts. Once the rockets were made the boys and girls headed outside and two at a time, the students launched their rockets after a countdown of 3...2...1...blastoff! A few members of [...]
