Easy Ways to Leave a Legacy with St. Labre
A will or trust is one of the most common ways to make a lasting gift. By including St. Labre in your plans, you can leave a meaningful legacy – while retaining your assets for as long as you need them. These gifts may also offer valuable tax advantages.
Naming St. Labre Indian School as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy is an easy way to impact future generations of Native American children and youth.
Make a gift that gives back! A Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) is a secure, predictable way to make a commitment to the students of St. Labre now and ensure you have a guaranteed income stream for life. Available to those 65 and over, a Charitable Gift Annuity gives you a fixed-rate income monthly, semi-annually or annually and allows for potential tax savings.
By naming St. Labre as a beneficiary of your pension plan, 401(k), IRA or self-employed retirement plan, you can make a significant charitable gift, reduce your tax burden, and increase the amount of your estate available to family and loved ones.
Membership in the Sacred Circle Legacy Society is reserved for those individuals who have remembered St. Labre in their estate plans, and making a planned gift automatically makes you a member.
If you’ve already named St. Labre as a beneficiary or made another type of planned giving arrangement, please let us know of your generosity so we can thank you personally for your legacy of care and blessing, and we’ll add your name to our Sacred Circle Legacy Society. While your estate gift will remain unspecified, your membership in the Sacred Circle Legacy Society will encourage others to remember St. Labre in their estate planning.

Because of your generous, planned gift, Native American children – some of them living in poverty or coming from tumultuous home environments – will not only complete high school, they will also have a greater chance to reach their potential by going to college or post-secondary education, finding meaningful employment, and potentially rising to become leading members of our communities. Well into the future, your enduring legacy will continue ensuring that these children receive an excellent education — academically, spiritually and culturally.
