A symbol of the past and future
Thunder, the mascot of the Buffalo Clan, represents the important place the buffalo holds in the lives of many Plains Indian tribes, including the Northern Cheyene and Crow. The buffalo was seen as a sacred gift from the Creator, a relative. Thunder carries that heritage forward–just as you are helping us do for the students of St. Labre.
