The Lord’s Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer is a traditional and time-honored Christian prayer, which Jesus taught us to pray in the New Testament. To honor the heritage of St. Labre Indian School’s students, we have also provided the Crow and Northern Cheyenne translations. Please consider its meaning in your personal devotions and worship.

More Than A School

St. Labre Indian School is more than a school. We are empowering a generation of Native American children with a tuition-free education, enabling them to achieve a future that is Proud, Prosperous and Free.

Too many of the students and families we serve face difficult economic hardships. But at St. Labre, boys and girls receive a tuition-free private education in a safe environment that celebrates their cultures, traditions and spirituality. They also receive the nutritious meals, daily essentials and loving care needed to thrive.

The St. Labre educational experience also places great importance on Native American culture and traditions by providing instruction in Native languages, Beading, Native American Museum Research, and much more. For our students, learning about their culture and heritage offers an anchor, a base from which they can venture out into the broader world, confident in who they are.

In addition to educating these boys and girls, St. Labre offers assistance to their families and communities through our Community Outreach Program, which provides help for families and Elders in need of food, heat, gas, and medical-related assistance.
