Tenth Anniversary Celebration Powwow

Ten years ago, Assistant Principal Gary Scholl had a dream of hosting a powwow at John Carroll High School in Bel Air, Maryland. That first event has grown bigger and better each year, and will celebrate ten continuous years on January 9, 2010, at the school.

All proceeds from the John Carroll Powwow are generously donated to St. Labre Indian School. Over the past nine years, many thousands of dollars have been generated by this event.

This year promises to be the best yet as dancers and drummers gather at John Carroll for the celebration. And we’ll be there, too. St. Labre will be hosting a reception for donors and any interested friends right after the 1 p.m. Grand Entry Ceremony. You will have the opportunity to meet St. Labre staff and former students, view the brand new St. Labre DVD, and enjoy food and fellowship.
