In 2008 St. Paul's Mission and School on the Fort
Belknap Indian Reservation in north central
Montana became a smoking ruin after
arsonists struck. St. Paul's is the only other
Indian Catholic School in the Diocese of Great Falls/
Billings, which takes in the vast area of the eastern
half of Montana. St. Paul's Mission is a sister school to St. Labre
In 2009 fire struck again in the boiler room of the tribal building being used as a temporary classroom for the kids. Since then the kids have been attending class in an old trailer that had been converted into a small church. They have been anxiously waiting for the completion of the new school under construction.
